Skyler James Wenger Scholarship

Events

We are pleased to invite you to participate in The Sky is the Limit 5k! The event will be September 28, 2013 at 9:00am.  The race will be held in Harrisburg on City Island, the Senators 5k route. This scholarship benefits Cedar Cliff High School students who are about to enter college by assisting them with expenses such as tuition and books.

Skyler lost his life on October 28th 2011, after he was hit by a car while trick-or-treating.  Skyler was a loving son who was devoted to his family, active in his youth group, a loyal friend to many, and an avid football and baseball player.  Skyler was an all-around nice kid who enjoyed life and who everyone liked to be around.  He had just started his freshman year at Cedar Cliff High School.  Skyler’s death impacted the whole community like a tidal wave.  This is a great way for the community to come together and help his family raise money to help provide educational scholarships for Cedar Cliff students in Skyler’s memory. Skyler saved and improved the lives of 7 people with his gift of life organ donation.
